It's Official!!!

It's official...I'm no longer employed! I turned in my resignation this morning. My boss took it well, as he knew I was considering staying home with Joel. What freedom I feel and at the same time how scary!!! I am trusting that God will provide, along with wise financial choices on our part, but things are definitely going to be a little tighter around the Stiver household. All in all, it's exciting and I'm so happy to start my new life as a stay-at-home mom:)

We've Joined the Club...

So, with a little prompting from Brian's sister, Beth, we've decided to blog. There was a time when I laughed at these and thought, "who has time for that?" Yet, here I am at midnight typing away!

Brian and I are getting use to our new life as parents. Joel is a pretty good baby, although he seems to have a mild version of colic. A couple times a day before he falls asleep he just wails and wails. The doctor said it's normal for some babies. He had his 1st month check up last Thursday and he weighs 10 pounds, 7 ounces!!! He has grown so quickly in just 5 weeks! It doesn't surprise me...the boy eats every 2 hours!
