LOST 08

So, last week was youth camp at McCormick's Creek State Park. What a week we had! We were blessed to join LCR youth group out of Edgerton Ohio...what a great group of staff, leaders and students!!! We're already looking forward to going back next year! We ended the week with 5 or 6 baptisms...it was awesome! Here are a few pix...

The Stiver and Burkhardt clans came down for the weekend. Our neighborhood had their annual garage sale and Joel's Dedication was Sunday. What a great weekend! It was a house full, a little loud and a little crazy, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks for coming everyone...it meant a lot to us. Happy Father's Day!!!

The Latest...

It's been a while since I've posted, so I thought I'd give a quick update on us.

Things are good at church. We are going to an Indianapolis Indians baseball game this Friday with our Young Married's group, which should be a lot fun. In a couple of weeks, we take the youth to summer camp @ McCormick's Creek State Park w/ LCR's youth group. We are going from Mon-Fri and Joel and I are going to give it a try. Supposively, we've got a nice cabin that will be fine for a baby. We'll see! Just incase, I'm taking an extra car. Not to mention, I need the room for all of the stuff I have to take with me...practically his entire bedroom!

We received a huge blessing last week by someone in our church. They borrowed our vehicle and brought it back with 4 new tires(needed so badly) and then took it to the shop and fixed our wheel barrings as well. It was pretty unbelievable! Without a doubt, He provides.

Proverbs 3:9-10 Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of your crop; then your barns will be filled to overflowing; and your vats will brim over with new wine.

Isn't it awesome when we can truly take him at his word?

Joel is now rolling big time. None of us are getting much sleep, as he is not use to the new found freedom in his crib. We frequently have to go in and remove his arms and legs between the slats, turn him over, etc, etc. I'm on the hunt for a Breathable Bumper. Babies R Us has them, but I don't want to pay $30 bucks. I've looked at craigslist and ebay...nothing yet.

The best news about Joel, is that his clogged tear duct is gone!!! No more goopie eye:)
