We truly had one of our best vacations in Michigan this past week. The place was graciously lended to us by some new friends we have met through the postpartum experience. It's a perfect place to relax and enjoy peace and quiet. We had a waterfront home with a private beach. It was fabulous!

Joel's Big Day & Luke's Latest
Joel is now going to a daycare/preschool 3 times a week for 4 hours each time. It gives me a chance to have a break...and a little extra time to work on my promotional cards when I have work. He has done really well with it. Today was his second day and he was ready to go.
Luke is getting to the fun stage of babyhood. He is clapping and babbling. Sitting on his own and taking interest in toys. He is becoming more and more aware of his brother. I love watching them interact together...how fun this will be to watch! He finally has two teeth coming in. I can hardly believe he is nine months old. Before I know it, he'll be a year.

Postpartum Survivor
I just couldn't stay away for the whole summer! Although I've had much going on, I've missed blogging. So, I'm back.
Wow! Postpartum Depression is no joke. I am so thankful to be through the illness. Who knew you could suffer at seven months postpartum? It is a very real, very tough sickness. I have a new appreciation for women who have been through ppd and also other illnesses that affect the emotions and the mind. There is definitely a need for awareness when it comes to these kind of issues. I'm hoping I can be some help and a voice for other sufferers.
I know this may be a little lame...but I wanted to give a "blanket blog" thank you to soooooo many people for prayers, love and support. Both family and friends were and have been amazing through this whole process. Brian and I are getting back to normal life for us. My boys are so good. God knew I would need a couple of easy babies while going through this.
We are getting ready to put Joel into a daycare/preschool a couple times a week. It will be really good for him to socialize and it will be great for me to get some mommy time(well, mommy and Luke time I guess;)). I told Joel about it and he keeps saying, he's "ready to go to school." So cute!
God has been so faithful. I'm feeling truly blessed...even through the trial of it all. God is always good.

Break Time
I'm taking an official break from blogging. Might return, might not. Between Facebook and the Blog it's a little time consuming. Most are on Facebook, so I'll announce if I return:) Have a great summer!

ON THE MARKET
So...for those of you that saw my post today, our house is back on the market. I deleted the post, but thought I would explain incase you read it. We had a buyer, but they've backed out. The good news is we get to keep their $1,000 earnest money. It will sell! All in God's timing:)

Our New Home
We are settled in our new place now and I have to say it already feels like home. It happened really quickly! I thought there would be a lot more difficulty transitioning. Of course, we still miss the people in Indiana...that won't change...but life here is good. The boys have done really well adjusting to the move. Joel is making lots of new friends. He loves our Pastor's family and our friend Manda. Luke is doing great! He slept 8 and 1/2 hours last night...10pm to 630am. It was pretty amazing!!!
No word on our house in Pendleton. We finally had our first showing last night but I have not heard anything about it. We're praying it sells quickly so that we can find a permanent home some time this year.
We love our new church and all that is going on there. They are giving Brian the month of January to get acclamated to the church, it's culture and leadership and his first official youth meeting will be the first week of February.
For those who haven't seen it, here is an outside shot of the house that the property manager had sent us(obviously it isn't recent with the green grass and all!). We will be staying here at least until our home in Indiana sells. It's really nice and we are so grateful for it:)
