Busted!

So, the update police are on my tail. I guess it has been a while. Here's the latest...

We are going full speed with the start of fall. This is just as busy, if not busier, as the summer time is for us. Along with the normal commitments with the youth ministry, fall brings Men's Basketball and Small Groups as well. It makes for a packed week. Brian and I have been spending some time discussing how to prioritize and cut out whatever possible in order for us to keep our family intact and also in order to not experience 'Burn Out'. The good thing is the stress of it has been bringing us closer together. Praise God, because it could certainly go the other way.

This past weekend, our church had a free concert, including kids activities, games, and lots of food vendors. Our main feature was Andy Monosmith, Brian's friend. We had a great time! The Nihart's came over to join us for the concert. It was good to see them.

In a couple weeks, we are heading to Brian's parents for a week's vacation. Which I am very excited about!! I'm definitely ready for a vacation. I've taken a few trips this summer, but they have been very busy and it's hard when you travel by airplane with a baby. So this will be wonderful and relaxing I'm sure.

Joel is doing well. He turns 9 months tomorrow. He has two little teeth on the bottom...so cute! He's a good baby. Still sleeping a lot. He sleeps 12 hours at night and takes two 2 hour naps each day. I keep waiting for him to grow out of these naps, but he hasn't yet:-)

That's it for now. I'll try and post something a little more exciting next time!

Oh my word!! 12 hours at night and 2 2 hour naps? You are one lucky mama!
If you are going to be in Edgerton for a week, you need to come see us for a bit. :)

It was cool to have Andy here. I've never met him before and he stayed with us. It was good to get to know him. By the way, Beth I think we are going to the zoo with Meg's family on the 10th of Oct because it closes on Oct 12th. I know you'll be busy with the wedding, so I guess we'll see you at the wedding:)

Aww.. that's okay. Danielle asked the bridesmaids to join her for some "day at the spa" time on the 10th. I guess I will just have to enjoy my manicure and pedicure instead. ;)

Ok, so 12 hours at night, TWO 2 hour naps during the day, and a "cry" that sounds like a tiny mouse squeak...your child is an anomaly, Tara!!
