I think I'll pull my hair out!

Grrrrrrrr...today has been a frustrating day! I set a 3 o'clock appointment for Joel to get his first professional pictures. I'm not sure if the preparation or the photo shoot was worse! It was pure torture!!!

He wouldn't go down for his nap at 1pm, so after much crying I decided to feed him early and give him his bath(which he desperately needed) so that we would make it on time. He was so tired by then that he screamed in terror over his bath and spit up everything he had just eaten. He ended up crying through most of the photo shoot and all the way out the door of Penney's. We're home now and he's in his crib crying and fighting sleep. Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday dear mommy, Happy Birthday to me!!!

P.S. Lesson of the day-NEVER take your baby to a photo shoot without someone's help! At least not my baby!!!

Awwwwwwww........ Nik's cousin Ashley recently had the same experience. Except her baby is even older (6 months). He wouldn't cooperate at all and they didn't end up with any good pics. So the next day her husband took him on his own for a second try and was successful. Don't give up. It will work soon. But yeah, you might want Brian to go with you next time so you don't go insane. And neither of my kids liked their bath time until they were about 8 months old. They would scream their lungs out. So you are not alone. LOL. I hope this evening was better for you since it was your birthday. Love you and see you Saturday. By the way, I have some a free 8x10 or 10x13 coupon for the picture people if you would like to try there. It is at the Glenbrook Mall. THere is no sitting fee. It's up to you though. I would suggest you call them tomorrow and book an appointment for Saturday if you want to do it. Just let me know.

Thanks for the encouraging comment:) Actually, we have a Picture People down here and I have a free coupon as well. I think we'll try them within the next few weeks. Thanks anyways! See you Saturday.

Awww..I had a bad experience with Lij's first professional pics too. I had to wait an hour past his appt. time and by then he wasn't in the best mood. Anyways...it'll get better. Well, maybe it will. I think I've only had 2 professional pictures of the kids that have turned out well. Alright..enough rambling....sorry. Happy birthday again. :)
